A man with light skin, blue eyes, a beard, and mustache smiling, wearing a black shirt and a necklace, against a solid blue background.

I am a specialized Trainer and Coach of Motivational Interviewing (MI), a Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP), and a Restorative Practices Trainer. As a member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT), I partner with school psychologists, social workers, counselors, and special educators to transform how they navigate change, engage colleagues, students, and families, and reduce defensiveness and enhance trust, connection, and engagement in school systems.

My practice is guided by a core philosophy: the wisdom is in the room. Rather than positioning myself as an outside expert with a one-size-fits-all formula, my training and coaching approach is deeply collaborative. By modeling authentic, transparent communication, I help school-based professionals tap into their inherent strengths and evoke that same internal motivation and clarity in the students, families, and teams they support.

With over 15 years of hands-on experience collaborating with administrators, teachers, parents, and support staff, I know firsthand the complex dynamics school psychologists, special education teachers, school social workers, and intervention and special education teams face. I understand the massive gap between programs that sound like the "next big thing" before fizzling out, and practices that make a lasting difference in how we help others.

Through high-quality training and tailored coaching, I help school-based practitioners seamlessly weave Motivational Interviewing into multi-tiered support systems, family consultation, meeting facilitation, and student behavioral and mental health support. I help those who hold up our school cultures equip themselves with the communication tools they need to inspire meaningful, lasting change from the inside out—one conversation at a time.

I am looking forward to meeting you.
